Yamaha RX-V567 Home Theatre Receiver (90W x 7, 4 x HDMI, 3D + ARC, HD Audio + DSP, 1080P Up-scaling, OSD, iPod & Bluetooth dock connection port) -  DISCONTINUED

The RX-V567 is the first 7.1 channel receiver in Yamaha's range allowing you to take advantage of the 7.1 high definition audio from Blu-ray. With the ability to combine 7 speakers, with the subwoofer, and advanced features such as video up-scaling, 3D support and Audio Return Channel from HDMI ver1.4, the RX-V567 is a mid-level receiver that delivers top end performance.

Features

805W Max Power!

With the additional two channels, from 5.1 to 7.1 channels, there is more power being delivered to all your speakers. So the RX-V567 will provide a greater cinematic experience in a larger room with the additional channels and power.

One Cable Connection to Your TV

he RX-V567 has video conversion from analogue sources to HDMI. This means you don’t have to run multiple video inputs into your TV, just the one HDMI cable. Simply connect your DVD player or other source device via component and your receiver will up convert the signal to HDMI.

Connect Your Laptop...Wirelessly.

Using the optional Yamaha Bluetooth Dock (YBA-10) the RX-V567 lets you connect your laptop wirelessly to the receiver. Now you have the power to play all your music without having to ever get off the couch!

3D Compatible

The RX-V567 supports 3D transmission. So if you have a 3D Blu-ray player and a 3D television, the RX-V567 will support this signal from Blu-ray to TV. Having an AV receiver such as the RX-V567 ensures you will experience the quality audio incorporated with the movie while watching the exciting 3D imagery.

HD Audio Support

With built-in decoders for the latest HD Audio Formats from Dolby and DTS, Yamaha’s RX-V567 has the ability to deliver HD Audio to your speakers as intended by the studio master.

Audio Return Channel

HDMI ver1.4 not only includes 3D support but also the Audio Return Channel. This means that you don’t have to connect an optical cable from your TV to your RX-V567 receiver to get sound through your system rather than the television speakers. The audio is sent from the TV’s HDMI input to the output of the receiver, so all that is needed is one HDMI cable from the receiver to the TV.

Performance

Power

Traditional power supplies service the requirements of analogue and digital circuits from a single power transformer. This adds unnecessary weight to the transformer and allows digital noise to infect the analogue audio circuits. Large improvements in sonic performance and energy efficiency are obtained by using a separate switch-mode power supply to feed the digital sections, and by dedicating the power transformer solely to feeding the analogue audio section the transformer becomes lighter and emits less electromagnetic noise.

CinemaDSP Digital

Since the mid 1980’s Yamaha has been the industry’s leader in re-creating the acoustic signatures of famous venues right in your own home. Cinema DSP technology adds a whole new dimension to your music and movie collection, allowing you to enjoy them as if you were right there in a concert hall in Vienna, the Bottom Line or the Roxy Theatre!

ARC

When you use your TV’s inbuilt tuner to watch TV then you’ll probably want to use your AV Receiver to listen – especially if your favourite TV show is broadcast in multi-channel surround. Audio Return Channel lets your compatible TV send these audio signals ‘upstream’ into your AV Receiver using the existing HDMI cable – eliminating the need for an extra optical or coaxial cable.

Speakers

Large speakers often have two or more pairs of terminals which give direct access to the high and low frequency crossover sections and drivers of that speaker. By redirecting the duties of your AV Receiver’s surround-back amplifiers (thus sacrificing your surround back channels) you can dedicate four independent power channels to your front speakers which results in significant improvements in performance. Consult your owner’s manual for the correct settings and connections.

Menu

With all of the setup menus displayed on your TV your Home Theatre becomes a lot easier to configure, and you can also navigate your iPod or network contents.
