SPECIAL CLEARANCE PRICE

This is for Australian model from Yamaha Australia with 2 years local warranty.
Beware of the parallel/grey imports which does not carry local warranty support and is designed to run on different voltage!

Yamaha’s RX-V767 is a mid level receiver made with premium sound. Built with more power and lower distortion this receiver will let you power larger speakers more efficiently, resulting in much higher sound quality for both movies and music. If you’re serious about premium sound in your home, then you can’t go past the RX-V767.

Features

Superior surround sound

Incorporating 7.2 surround sound, the RX-V767 puts you in full control of your home theatre setup. Each channel can give you in excess of 130 watts of power, which is more than enough for any budding home theatre enthusiast.

Superior build quality

Yamaha receivers have always been manufactured to the highest standards. That is why the RX-V767 gains a full height receiver profile and an aluminium front facia design. Not only does this help with heat dissipation, it also helps to minimise electrical interference that can affect audio quality.

Multi point YPAO Configuration

We have spoken about other Yamaha models that have Yamaha proprietary YPAO room calibration. The RX-V767 takes it to the next level with an advanced version of this technology. Instead of taking room measurements from one position, the Advanced YPAO runs the setup program three times at different spots around the room to ensure that your home theatre is setup for everyone in your room.

Double the screen!

The RX-V767 has six HDMI inputs (one on the front), enough to connect all your components. And, if this wasn’t enough it has two HDMI outputs. Now you can have a panel connected during the day and have a projector connected for those times you want to transform your room into a cinema; all controllable from your Yamaha remote without having to manually change connections.

Multiple Rooms, Simultaneously!

The RX-V767 incorporates Zone 2 technology making it capable of playing audio in two separate areas simultaneously. You can be watching a movie in the living room while your partner listens to music in another room. It’s just another way Yamaha lets you enjoy music in your home.

HD Audio Support

With built-in decoders for the latest high definition audio formats from Dolby and DTS, Yamaha’s RX-V767 has the ability to deliver HD Audio (DTS-Master and Dolby Tru-HD) to your speakers as intended by the director.

Performance

CinemaDSP Digital

Yamaha was the first to bring the 3rd dimension of height to Home Theatre with 3D Cinema DSP. By utilising your presence speakers Yamaha’s 3D Cinema DSP provides lifelike overhead effects which are particularly effective for action movies and music videos.

Menus

With all of the setup menus displayed on your TV your RX-V767 AV receiver becomes a lot easier to configure, and you can also navigate your iPod contents. Models with a Graphical User Interface (GUI) can even display album artwork.

Silent Cinema

Even if you don’t have rear speakers connected you can still enjoy the benefits of multichannel surround sound. Silent Cinema is activated when you plug in your headphones to listen to a multichannel surround signal such as Dolby Digital. Algorithms and phasing techniques are used to give your ears the impression that the rear channels are coming from behind you, using only the left and right earpieces of your headphones. Virtual Cinema DSP works in a similar fashion, except it uses just the front left and right speakers to spread the surround effect much further than your speakers are usually capable of.

With the entire chassis able to be electrically earthed a ‘faraday cage’ effect is obtained, whereby electromagnetic interference is blocked from entering the audio path, resulting in a clearer signal.

Zone 2

Multi-zone AV Receivers can deliver separate audio programs to multiple zones at once. For example you can enjoy listening to a CD or iPod while cooking in the kitchen as somebody else enjoys surround sound in the main room - all at the same time.

Digital Top-Art

The Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology (ToP-ART) badge is given to components which conform to stringent levels of high performance and sonic integrity. Specially selected parts are used in the signal path, and each stage is ‘tuned’ to provide a sonically pleasing result.
