Peace of Mind by Dealing with a Reputable Australian Business

Online shopping is a blessing to the world, giving you all the choices and the information at your fingertips.
With the ever-growing number of businesses around the world providing so many choices, it can be sometimes overwhelming sorting out the good from the bads.

When dealing with an online store, how will you know that you are in the safe hands? How will you know that your goods will be delivered, in time? How do you ensure that you're getting the real deal?
Exeltek is a reputable local business trading since 2003. We are an Australian business based in Mulgrave, Victoria. This means that as a retailer, our business is regulated by various government bodies created to protect you as a consumer.

What it means for you:

1. Buying from an Australian company means less risk. Less

2. The product complies with Australian standard, safety regulation and conditions. A-tick approved on all mobile phones & smartphones.

3. Guaranteed all genuine accessories & attachments. We do not practice substituting genuine accessories with the cheaper 3rd party aftermarket.

4. Buying from the authorised Australian channel also means you are dealing with a business which is bound by Australian Consumer Protection law. This means your right as a consumer is protected. When you deal with parallel importers or overseas-based entity, you may be out of luck if they simply decide not to honour what they promised. We also issue GST-inclusive tax invoice for sale in Australia.

5. Someone to speak to in relation to your sales and after sales enquiries.

Please be aware that websites which do not specify that their mobile phones have manufacturer warranty in Australia are usually  the overseas model and not the genuine Australian A Tick models. They are genearally lower in price however contain serveral disadvantages,  including unofficial warranty provided by the store itself or a third party, exclusion of GST on your tax invoice and overseas AC charger.

Hints to identify whether they are genuine Australian Stock on other websites:

  • No specification on its origin
  • No specification on any network tie (Locked/Unlocked)
  • Extremely low in price
  • No contact number for the site
  • If  "Australia warranty" is advertised, it could mean that the warranty will only take place in Australia (e.g.: store warranty) but not with the authorised repair centre from the manufacturer.(i.e.: "24 months Nokia Australia Warranty" will be advertised for Australian Model instead.)

The above are some of the most useful hints to help identify whether it is genuine Australian A-Tick stock as overseas mobile phone are generally considered to be a high risk.
